TLDR: It is really good, but there are some disturbing depictions. (Like inappropriate depictions)
Longer Review: I actually loved this volume. It is a shame because the story is great. It offers a very interesting build up, and excellent world building. The drawings are beautifully illustrated as well. However, because of the 'disturbing' scenes, this book loses some points.

That scene where Riko is confronted with her past is just beautiful. I mean, I got like chills reading it. It is so well developed and such a powerful way of communicating it. I also really like Reg. I just am a bit disturbed by some of the depictions of Riko and Marulk. Like, I would legitimately be embarrassed if someone saw me reading this volume in public. Plot is great, but something is wrong with the author. It is tough to say whether or not I will finish the series.
