"The Other Mrs" is available NOW and it should not be missed! The Other Mrs is my first novel by Mary Kubica and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Twist after twist in this book practically made me dizzy! Yes there are some believability issues, but the story was so entertaining that it didn’t bother me. I loved how everything came together and connected through alternating points of view. There were some slow parts but overall this book had a quick pace and interesting characters.

Thank you to Park Row Books and Bookclubbish for my free advanced copy in exchange for an honest review!

Sadie and Will Foust move to Maine with their two sons after Wills sister committed suicide. Sadie is now the new doctor in town and Will works part time at the university. Wills sister left him her house and also guardianship of her daughter Imogen. Imogen is sullen and has an attitude to match her goth clothes and makeup. Sadie is determined to have a fresh start in Maine. Her and Wills marriage has hit a rough patch after his affair. After moving in their new neighborhood , their neighbor Morgan Baines is found murdered in her home. As the newcomers the suspicion turns to them. When a couple of elderly neighbors say they saw Sadie arguing with Morgan she can’t fathom why they would lie. Soon the local police department start investigating into their lives and Sadie doesn’t know who to trust and what’s going on. Sadie decides she will do whatever it takes to get to the bottom of the murder. With a killer on the loose she worries about the safety of her family or if the murderer could be someone in her own family! This book is told in three females POV’s, Sadie, Camille and a little girl named Mouse. Camille believes Will should be hers because she met him first and seems to have been stalking him for a while. She cannot accept that he and Sadie are married and wants her out of the picture. Mouse is a six year old who lives with her father and now step mother who she refers to as fake mom who is just awful to her. This book was a thrill ride and has so many twists and turns and you begin to wonder how this will all end up and the end will have you saying Oh My God. I give this five stars! I seriously could not put this book down! Highly recommend!

This was soooo slow. The ending was great, and the drama really kicked the book up a notch, but it had been 300 pages of nothing really and then everything happening at the end. I think this would’ve been better if it was either shorter, or had more drama throughout. Not a favourite of mine.

Very gone-girl and girl on the train esque. Lots of thrilling twists + turns to figure out who done it. Highly recommend!

Even though I figured out one, I was surprised about the other. I knew something was up. Good book.
