This was such a good book. It was one of those books that I had never heard of and took a chance! I am so glad I did! I loved the plot and characters. It has a good bit of horror but not over the top. Give this book a try if you are looking for a good horror book about Ghost/Spirits.

Hated|Disliked|Meh|It Was Okay|Liked|Really Liked|Loved

I don't even know where to start with this one. I went in thinking it was going to be this good in the middle of no where type of horror and what I got was cringe romancey mess. A good chunk of the book is Harry being obsessed with his wife, in a way that made it seem like he needed therapy and not a wife. He is blinded by violence when protecting her. Instead of being rational he is a walking broken RED FLAG. Which leads to his wife being a total fucking idiot. That isn't even the worse of it.

I am so tired of the fucking stereotypical white people trope. I am a white woman who would have 100% listened to the wise old ass couple and the Native Americans. I have no idea why horror authors are so prone to being so bland as fuck with this. Give us characters who DO EVERYTHING RIGHT and still it isn't enough. THAT is horror. THIS is shit.
