A riveting story about a teen with ASD, the struggles he and his family go through day to day and then when he is charged with a crime. It felt like a realistic picture of how hard life is from each family member’s perspective. Additionally it was thought provoking about the legal competence and if it is affected by asd. Pages kept turning to find out what happened!

Typical Jodi Picoult formula. She does it well and keeps you turning pages. I always like a court room drama. I wanted something to help me concentrate and keep turning pages without too much effort so I enjoyed it.

Ao contrário de outros livros que já li da Jodi Picoult acho que este não teve o típico suspense que nos prende até ao fim do livro, não sei, acho que lhe faltou alguma coisa daí apenas ter atribuído 3 estrelas!

If you like emotional legal mysteries, like Joh Grisham, then I'd recommend this. However, the main character is an 18 year, who has Asperger's, and it's an emotional roller coaster, so prepare your heart.

Classic good Jodi Picoult book! Once again, I was slightly annoyed with the mother though. Like what did she expect when she basically called the police and turned in her son?! Also the romantic relationship with the lawyer was kinda weird. Overall great story though! I was wondering what actually happened the whole time!
