This book hits the ground running with the spice and ends up being a story of love building between two people. The conflict of Cassie and Erin being together adds an edge to the spice. I really enjoyed all the characters in this world.

A steamy sapphic romance right out of the gate! Unfortunately this was all steam for a while and left me searching for a plot. While it made it difficult to stay interested, I stayed the course and this eventually developed the characters and relationships. If you’re looking to read a lot of steam on the page and don’t care about the rest—def pick this one up.

3.25

I struggled to rate this one! The smut was top-notch, but the storyline was boring. I was so bored in the last 25-30 percent  without any boning. I didn't believe their love, but I did believe their chemistry. It was hot and taboo, and once that ended, I was disinterested. What bothered me most about the setup was the blatant infantalization of Parker, who was two years younger than Cassie? She was so immature, and Cassie had the personality of a thirty year old. Also, I NEEDED the intense backlash they should have received from this relationship. To not get it was literature blue balls.  I waited during every sex scene for them to get caught and nothing???? But it comes back to the super in-depth sex scenes in public spaces, which just do it for me. So I couldn't give this less than 3. I am landing at a 3.25
