This book was really interesting and a beautiful coming of age. It deals with lots of heavy, important topics well and you follow and reflect the emotional journey of the protagonist.

I'm aware this kind of book isn't one I'd ever really love, I'm not a huge fan of prose or coming of age, but I still enjoyed this and the importance of these stories being told is undeniable.

I thought that the drag element of this story happened quickly compared to how the rest was paced, but it doesn't change that this is a beautiful book with beautiful themes.
