- I am on the author's street team and so I received an ARC copy of the book in kindle format. Although this is the case, it has no influence over my review and rating. -

We have reached the end of this amazing series and I couldn't be more sad about it. I really love Brynna's story and character, and hate to see it come to an end. This final installment will not disappoint and I am VERY pleased with how it has ended. It is the perfect ending to a great series.

This book has the same feel as the first book did. It has lots of action and political intrigue that keeps it interesting, and it doesn't have a lot of romance. I didn't like the climax as much as I wanted to, but it is exactly how it should have ended in order to stay true to Brynna and her morals. Although Brynna goes through character development and learns valuable lessons that change her, there are certain character traits and morals that never change and I find that to be something that makes a great role model. She allows herself to grow but stays true to herself.

I love the relationships that are formed and the new bonds that seem to be the least expected. It added a lot to the story for me and pulled at my heart strings. I think the relationships that are formed in this book are the best out of the whole series. Evans did a very great job working on them.

I already miss Brynna

What a ride this series has been. I love seeing a character grow before my very eyes. She had to make a lot of sacrifices and I was REALLY hoping for a happy ending between all parties but I’m happy with how this ended. Though sad I won’t have more of her shenanigans to read about.

Alas, we’ve arrived at the final book in the series, and I don’t think I’m ready to let this amazing cast of characters go. Brynna has always been strong and assertive, but through this journey, she's learned to lean on people. In The Queen of Veils, she has to go against everything she thinks she should do, so she can take back Forcadel from Illara once and for all.

Cut off from Felix, Katarine, and Beata, Brynna has to trust that they are doing their part while she does hers. She can only hope that all the steps that brought them here will be enough to take down Ilara, who always seems to be one step ahead of them. But “...failure is just a stepping stone to greatness.”

Sush, what have you done to me? So many emotions in this one! From book 1, I have adored watching Brynna grow, watching her learn what it means to lead and to depend on those around her. This is such an amazing world with many imaginative magical elements. This book is a sweet goodbye to a world and cast of characters I’ve grown to love. Evans has done a superb job at creating a rollercoaster of emotions with every setback and struggle that has occurred along the way. Well done!

I was so incredibly excited to be gifted an arc of this novel and I could not wait to read it. However, the closer I got to the ending, the sadder I got. I have absolutely adored this series and I was so not ready for it to end. But in true S. Usher Evan's fashion, the conclusion was everything I could have hoped for. I was in constant suspense and could not see how Brynna would be able to get through it all. This is one conclusion that won't let you down.

I am so sad that Brynna's journey is at an end but this was the perfect conclusion to an epic series. I absolutely loved following along and watching my favorite vigilante turn into a Queen. I definitely recommend this series to anyone!! These books are such a quick, fun read (except for the end of book 3...my heart still hurts over that!).

S. Usher Evans does not disappoint with the finale of her Princess Vigilante series.

Once again we follow Brynna, Felix, and Katherine as they attempt to reclaim their kingdom from Ilara. Brynna is being held captive in Ilara's court - subject to insults and jests about her failures as a queen. As Brynna learns more about Ilara's plans for her people, Brynna becomes more desperate to save them.

As Brynna is held in Ilara's court, Felix and Katherine are responsible for leading two halves of Brynna's army to Forcedel - but when they arrive, they are not prepared for what they fine.

Overall, I think this book is the best in the series. It is witty, thrilling, and intriguing. The character development in both Brynna and Felix is seen really clearly in this volume. The story ends beautifully, a few tears are shed, and it leaves the reader with hope for the future of Forcedel and its people.

Wow! Brynna has really matured from the impetuous, headstrong teen who ran away from her responsibilities in book 1. As she has learned to be a leader and delegate, the number of people supporting her has increased and this is book has a true ensemble cast. It features many friends from all along her path to become queen. Kieran and Elisha are a couple of my favorites. No matter what they do, Illara seems to always be moved ahead of them in this deadly chess game.

This book ends the major conflict that has been growing throughout the 4 book series and they should be read in order. There is a lot of growth and development through the books. They tell a chronological story. While this story is complete, there are many stories left to tell in this world and I hope the author will be inspired to tell them.
