I can only dream of feeling the passion that radiates of the pages between Rhett and Summer. I usually get bored when a couple get together relatively early on but I really didn’t this time, I just wanted to know how it was going to end up for them. I’m so in love with their love.

For the first book of the Chestnut Springs series this book did not disappoint. It's everything you want from a small town sport romance. Also fair warning it also kinda makes you slightly interested in bull riding. (Just a little). You won't get it now but once you read it, you'll get it. Rhett will make you swoon, feel sorry for him and feel happy for him all at the same time. Also we love Summer. Having a strong, witty female character that can hold her own makes it so much better. Yes this book is a romance but I love the fact that it's not really the main plot of book. The book is about them but it also goes further than them. The trauma that each of them have makes you empathetic towards them both but makes you proud of how they overcome their fears and trauma. It really focuses on the important values in life and makes you think if what you are doing right now in life is what you really want to do. At some parts the book becomes heavy and full of emotion but the comedic element and snarky remarks help lighten the mood a lot. If you are looking for a new series to start, or you just want to read this as a stand alone. I would one hundred percent recommend 'Flawless'.

This book was an utter disappointment. I was curious about this series after all the hype that I found about it on either tik tok or YouTube. It was a painfully cringe read, further enhanced by the Italian translation which wasn't the best ever.

Alrightie, let's start with a common problem of this type of books: they all introduce in the story different interesting themes - such as the grooming experience that Summer underwent - but they just glass over them superficially and with a resolution that's all too soon found and that is strictly linked to the love interest instead of the fmc. Naturally I don't expect a romance to talk in great details about such important themes; there's nothing back in it being just a love-centered thing with its smutty details, but aside the fact that the smut was meh at best, it was also written to be so objectifying from the mmc that it was an uncomfortable read truly. I am not against loveless sex and neither a prude but in this case it was implied they were in love and yet, it felt painfully superficial and not all that real.

I disliked the mmc and the way it was constantly implied that the fmc had to change out of her 'city girls' attitude on a vibe that reminded me of trad-wives although she ends up having her own entreprise. In all truth I doubt that I'll ever continue this series.

A fun introduction to a new town and a new family! Rhett was charming, funny, rugged… but it took me a bit to vibe with him. However I LOVED his character development throughout and the way he fell for Summer. It was a page turner for sure, had a hard time putting it down which is a problem for women who have to be up at 5 am. Can’t wait to read the rest of the family’s books!

A decent romance, but oooh I forgot I hate a lot of the tropes that come with cowboy romances. And Rhett had a lot of them. There was a point, about 3/4 of the way in, that he mentioned he never thought about the impact of his bull riding on his family... when they've been trying to tell him the impact for years?
There were a lot of threads that were started in this book that I'm not sure we'll ever get closure to, like Rob and Winter???? What the actual fuck?????????????? That is a wild storyline to throw in there with minimal follow up/closure. I can only assume that more info comes out in the other books in the series, but I just checked and Winter doesn't get her own story at this point so... idk!!!
Also, side note, having sisters named Winter and Summer and then their personalities follow suit? Come on.
I enjoyed reading this, and the smut was decent, but WOW there were some glaring things for me that kept it from being a high star rating.
