This wasn't even about Simon At all, but About James Herondale. I know James already from some other book I think and it's wonderful to get to know all about his background. The entire shadowworld is just so connected, it's crazy! Then there's of course Matthew Who just reminded me of Draco, but His story took another turn, so That's great! And the ending was so cute!

This was the most complex tale yet. The amount of new characters and their families made me a little confused.
But I adored it still.
I am absolutely in love with shy, sweet James Herondale.
And the scene with Jem broke my heart.
What he described about friends and not being desired, felt far too relatable.
Solid 5 stars!

Loved meeting James Herondale and his parabatai Mattew Fairchild. They seem like a very aspiring team to be.

P.D: ¡Como extrañaba a Will y sus locuras!

Me encantó!!!
