Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This book have a good recitation about the shapes of everything. The illustration pretty good and look like book craft or something. Just it.

I received a copy of The Shape of You by Muon Thi Van and illustrated by Miki Sato from Kids Can Press in exchange for an honest review.
A cute story about a mother and daughter as they look at the shapes that make up their lives. It explores the day to day life of the two but also the shape of the love between them. It's a wonderful picture book about the love of a mother.

Bright illustrations show the shapes we can find all around us in the world as a child sees them simply as their basic shapes and how even things like friendship have a shape being the shape of the friend. Very sweet little book

A delicate little book, with lots of creative ideas in terms of both copy and visuals.
I'm not sure what age group is the target audience but my 4.5-year-old definitely does not understand abstract concepts like "the shape of order is numbers" or "the shape of learning is a question". No matter how beautiful the language of the book. Which is indeed poetic, as well as thought-provoking. As an adult, I did like it.
Many thanks to NetGalley and Kids Can Press for an Advance Review Copy.
