I liked it. Simple, but engaging and moving. It reminded me a lot of Murakami's work which figures since the author is his translator, but I don't think that's a negative. There was a certain beauty in the simplicity of it.

This is what I imagine a cat version of books like Marley and Me, Art of Racing in the Rain, and A Dog's Purpose, would be like if the animal was a cat and lived.

Really good. It hits you in the feels something fierce. The only complaint I had was the translation was distinctly British.

A feel-good, heartwarming story that most cat lovers can identify with (in terms of cats' temperament). Cats definitely have more character and attitude than dogs. Most of us love dogs for the companionship they provide. But if you want a critical friend, you'll want a cat. Catch the movie if you don't have time for the book - both are equally worth your time.
