This is a pop theology book, that does not explain its terms and makes overarching generalizations that adds no depth or substance to the discussion of marriages…

This book was good and enjoyable, but it had some weaknesses. I would recommend it to someone who is interested in the subject matter.

Makes you think and might make you a little more humble.

What a bunch of nonsense. According to this, the only valid reasons for divorce is a cheating partner or endangerment of a child? So ignorant of the many other unhealthy, abusive and dangerous valid situations.
Oh, and pitching throughout the book "getting closer to God through sex", "sex to satisfy your partner and put their needs first", "although sex might feel shameful"? Conveys the feeling to me that the author may have addressed this maaaybe to his and his friend's frigid wives...?
