I had to read Minimum of Two for school and it was quite dull. The characters are all one dimension and the plots are incredibly boring. The only thing that I like about this book was Winton's prose, but even those at times were quite boring in comparison to his other works. The only truly positive thing I can say about this short story collection was that my Literature teacher loved it

Tim Winton just has a way of writing Australia unlike any other author I've read. Cinematic, climatic and just beautiful. I picture every scene so clearly in my head, and it just astounds me that a writer can do that so easily.
