I love me some Ezekiel!! Idk y I thought he was the oldest lol! I love how take charge he is and how he don’t play. He likes structure and I like that. Jhori was just what he needed. I wish we knew more about her tho but I understand it’s his story. I love how Elias and Cress made big cameos too

They move hella fast in this series but I like it! I loved how Ezekiel knew he wanted Jhorie and he showed it. Those Omari men is a dream!

This was a great follow up to Shadows & Whispers. I enjoyed watched Ezekiel get his happy ending. He was applying pressure from the very beginning much like his brother, Elias did in book 1. He’s also book bae material obvi! I especially loved how in tune with his emotions he was and how communicative he was about that. He let Jhorie know from the beginning that he wants a wife who will choose him and that’s what he got. I really need to take a page outta his book and apply it to my romantic life. 😂 I admired Jhorie’s independence and determination. She was very goal oriented and was realistically hesitant about how quickly their relationship was moving. I saw a lot of myself in her reservations and it was lovely to see her get out of her own way to accept the love Ezekiel was offering. Another page out of somebody else’s book that I should be applying to my own romantic life 😂 overall this was a great romance that I would recommend to a friend 😇

- I just knew I was gonna love Ez book because you could just tell he had so much to give. Him and his brother were both so vulnerable and I love to see it.
- Jhorie decides to move back home after she ends her long term relationship. Shes home and is back on her grind! She wastes no time getting into her career and continuing to water things that are important to her. Jho is extremely smart with a lot to say. However when Ezekiel comes with that BDE she gets all quiet lol. Ez is very forward from his first interaction with Jho. He is the middle child and literally the glue of the family for years and he all but kill's himself helping everyone else. He is newly divorced and is looking to re-enter the bachelor life lol but not really because he wants love.
- These two both deserved each other. But more than that they both chose each other. They had me a little confused on why they couldn't just date like normal people but when you know you know ig. I really liked this book too. These men and their vulnerability😫 chile I want one. I cant wait for Christians story though because his situation is crazy.
- Definitely recommend. Read the first story for the full experience.
