No plot progression, and the characters were all white wealthy and absurdly privileged in a very clean/safe way. Nothing raw, nothing precarious, nothing subverive.

I started this book because I saw a very positive review of it, but the plot just wasn't for me in the end...I think it could be great for those who are interested in reading an 'everyday' perspective of the couples in the book, but I just wasn't compelled to continue reading :") By "everyday" I mean something along the lines of there not being a lot of drama, tension, or conflict, which is what I usually go for in a book.
