I really enjoyed reading this book A LOT! I loved the dual POV and the time stamps for each chapter. I also really liked how there were chapters sprinkled in where we didn’t know who’s POV it was, we could only speculate. 

While I liked reading the book, I wasn’t obsessed with the ending. When I was reading I was trying to figure out the big twist, and I feel like my prediction would’ve been a better story line. But I really didn’t see all the smaller tiny twists that seemed to happen each chapter and that’s why I loved reading it! 

This was a really good one by Alice Feeney and she has slayed me once again!

the 16th birthday scene in the woods and Zoe's animal cruelty was VILE also I'm sorry but why did Cat have to die?? Like it was just a job Anna could've gotten another one if she was that good at her old one Cat just wanted to go back to work she probably didnt even know Anna was cheating with Richard, her poor daughters :(

there were a lot of twists and turns and while I had the tiniest inkling who the killer was it seemed a bit far-fetched but still kudos to Alice Feeney for writing another engaging book and making me look at every mentioned character with doubt and suspicion.

Holy shit. Alice Feeney being crowned “queen of killer twists” is highly accurate. This book was shockingly good, I was on edge the entire time I read it. I had an inkling of who I thought the murderer was and I was completely wrong, you don’t find out until the last 10 pages and before then, everyone is suspicious and everyone has motive. It was so twisted, incredibly addictive and hard to put down. I really don’t know how Alice does it but I refuse to question perfection.

The characters are not *unlikable*, I love the way she writes her cast with obvious flaws but doesn’t put those flaws on the forefront of the storyline. This is fast paced and easy to devour in one sitting. The ending was beautifully put together, and left me with a feeling of redemption. The people you’re meant to hate are insufferable and those you’re meant to sympathize with, break your heart. It’s a wonderful concoction of emotions and I want to read everything she writes forever.
