This book is definitely a middle grade book that should be read as a preteen or teen. I felt very removed and related more towards the parents and teacher than the main character Steve. I also dunno that paper book is the best medium for this book to be consumed in. Audio was alright but I’m going to give the graphic novel a shot as well because I think that is going to be the best option to tell this story as the author intended. I recommend this to teens and preteens. Not a bad book just not my favorite.

I remember reading this in freshman year of high school, but wasn't mature enough to understand what exactly was going on. Now as a 25 year old, I'm glad I found this book. This was very well written and impressive that the young Steve Harmon put this all together! Good job Steve!

EDIT: I forgot that this was fiction! lol Well, it felt like real fiction, even though it was formatted as a screenplay.
