I wish I’d read this as a child. Nonsensical and fun, written in exactly the kind of snarky, old-timey prose that I love. These kids are soooo sassy

This book was recommended to me after reading (and enjoying) The Phantom Tollbooth. This one didn't really do it for me. I probably would have enjoyed it more as a kid.
