It's hard to look past the misogyny and homophobia of the 40s at times but Lewis has some really great and thought-provoking points, I definitely feel like I understand Christianity and what it means to be a Christian better now
The people addressed by this book are exclusively men or at least Lewis used the generic masculinum, he talks abt the love between men as "sexual perversion" and basically tells you that God will take it from you one day and it's not your fault as long as you don't give in to it, which, I mean... classic 40s bs ig
He also mentions how women should submit to their husbands and that they can't be as rational as men bc they always put their family first
Other than that I really really enjoyed the book, I am so very glad my friend recommended it to me!

Interesante lectura. Hay cosas que me han abierto la mente, especialmente con sus ejemplos básicos para explicar temas complicados, y hay otras cosas que han quedado obsoletas.

Whether you agree with everything he says or not, there is no doubt that he is incredibly intelligent and is very close to the Spirit. It is amazing how he breaks down christianity and explains how it is so simple and easy, but difficult at the same time. Amazing nuggets of wisdom. He definitely has the best ways of saying things.

Enjoyed it all, but the last book was the weakest I felt.
