I enjoyed it for what it was, and I would read another installment in the Clue Mystery series. It was a fun, light read.

I started reading this, got about halfway, felt “I just want to know who did it, I don’t care about these people” and then I realised that I COULD actually just read the end. So I did. I was underwhelmed. I am not nearly enough of a fan of the game or the movie as I think you need to be to truly enjoy this book. This series? Apparently it’s a trilogy. I’ve read the spoiler reviews for the other parts just to solidify my DNF. It's very solidified.

The setting and description of Blackbrook is far better than the story itself, but this was a quick read and it did not disappoint.

Very cute way of incorporating Clue into a YA book series. The shifting POVs accompanied by each character's secret/motive start to get jumbled up at times, leading me to feel I missed something at one point or another, but overall great for YA audiences.

Not terrible. Clue (game) mystery story. I didn’t guess the killer until the most obvious clue was given. Chosen for the September mini-challenge. Prompt: professor plum. There was a character Phineas Plum in the book. And it was Clue. Good enough for me.

The only thing I don't like is one specific character, but it's a spoiler

Also I read this during a pretty solid snow storm

Pretty good story. I think the killer was a pretty good killer with a good reason.

Not enough mysteries were wrapped up but maybe the next book?

Also I didn’t call it but the ending made me suspicious

the actual killer was pretty predictable but the other plot twist had me gagged.
