Why have I waited so long to read Stephen King’s books?!? The outsider was thrilling and kept my attention throughout.

This honestly is 4.5 stars, so that’s why I gave it a 5-star rating.

Having this been my first Stephen King book I’ve ever read (“IT” is still in progress on my Kindle- gotta take that one day by day), I was impressed! I liked the momentum and the adrenaline that it gave me to pump through the 561 pages. Very well done and I do recommend!

This was pretty good. I felt the build up was more exciting than the finale, but it could just be how I felt. The story seemed to not really keep my interest and it fell off a bit. Although, I will adore an extra scenes and story with Holly <3

I liked it. I only listened to the audio version of it though, so I’m not sure if I really would’ve enjoyed it as much. Around the halfway point, I felt like there was too much filler, so I didn’t pay attention as much. I did still enjoy the book overall.

No words I can form can fully describe how amazing this book was and is to me. The very first page grasp my attention and continued to hold it throughout the book. There were moments I felt as if I had to whew, slow down and read the sentences and understand fully. Even moments throughout the book where I just KNEW I was right but felt as if any moment, and there were plenty, something would prove me either wrong or make me question what I felt strongly correct about. I've become so engrossed in the book, I would have to tell someone that it is a MUST (funny how I put that there) read and you would be entirely insane if you haven't.

This book was not at all what I was expecting! The beginning, while intriguing, took me a little while to get into. The rest of the book had me so hooked i finished the last 300 pages today! I’m not entirely sure what to think tbh. I thought the premise was captivating, and was interested to see how a seemingly impossible situation could be explained. However, I think it did fall apart when it came to the explanation. I understand that it’s King, so supernatural plot lines are kind of inevitable. It’s not the supernatural occupancies that lost me, rather the logic behind it that confused me.
Overall, I did enjoy this book, although it definitely could have been cut shorter to fix some pacing issues.
