Two hugely racist sentences ruined this silly early Christie thriller/romance book for me.

Book six of my personal read through of Agatha Christie in publication order!
I remember this one being a favorite in my teen years, and it held up rather well on this re-read. It's very much in a pulp adventure style, so I imagine it's a 'love it or hate it' sort of book. But if you love political intrigue, larger than life heroes, witty banter, stolen jewels, secret identities, and *multiple* sets of important papers that are stolen and recovered and re-stolen... then this book is for you! There's even a cipher and a secret passageway wedged into the mix. Lots of fun!
