Beautifully written. I learned an entirely new vocabulary from Wurtzel’s intricate writing style. The way she writes about depression is almost beyond words. She makes a very individualized experience seem relatable in a sense. However, this book was redundant and could have been shortened to less than 300 pages.

the end and the afterword were good. it was just so long and waffly. also surprise ipswich appearance.

omfg
this got me out of a month long slump and it’s probably because of the tone of her writing
there was a lot to relate to and wasnt super gruelling to read
i definitely understand the grouping of prozac nation, girl interrupted and the bell jar
will i ever get tired of the depressed white girl genre who knows
i think at times i didnt really know what was happening but just went with it, reminding myself it was all nonfiction 
i think the biggest thing for me is seeing similarities in my world
i feel like more than half the people in our generation would doubly relate to this
i found the fact that the last pages suddenly were about nirvana kinda funny but it made sense
i live for pop culture references and music references so i really liked reading this
thats all
