Holy hell, that was a ride! This is my first book by Imogen Keeper and it will absolutely not be my last. I freaking loved this story.

I read and listen to a lot of books. This is the first I’ve read by this author but I will add her to my watch list. This is one of the best stories I’ve read in awhile. The chemistry between Stranger and Mia is so heart melting. With them being such opposites it is impossible to set down the story. Every step of the way they have to face their attraction. All the side issues and with Stranger trying to figure out who actually hired him plus the relationship with his brother James just made me ignoring things I needed to do to just keep reading. The character development is consistent. Mia trying to face things she has ignored made me think about people I’m surrounded with. I didn’t see where there would be more books with these characters but I’m hoping there will be. I have to thank Hidden Gems for giving me an arc and a new author I will enjoy.

This romantic suspense has so much HEART. It was funny, steamy, with a bit of darkness.
Oh my lord, this book was a sloooow burn, but it burned REALLY hot if that makes any sense? I found myself just as giddy as Mia was for every text, call, and finally that first FaceTime with Stranger.

I’ve never done heroin or ecstasy, but this is what I imagine it feels like. Some evil spirit just injected me with pure lust and it hits me low, ripples through my blood, stealing under my skin like a fever and I’m…lost.If we are lucky in life, we find a special someone who will help be your mirror. Someone to help you take that long look at yourself that you don’t want to really do. That shit can suck, as mirrors can be brutally honest. Mia and Stranger are the mirror for each other, a safe place to crack open their hidden souls. These two polar opposites had the sweetest, most perfect chemistry.

all the cheating. It can be explained away because her fiancé has been cheating on her, but it seemed to dampen the emotion between Mia and Stranger just a bit.
