I can't remember the exact feeling of reading my first Steve Cavanagh book, but I assume it felt like reading this one: absolutely gripping. There is so much going on, so many twists and turns, that genuinely at points I felt a bit breathless! Although there were some parts I guessed ahead of time, the actual execution of them never failed to surprise me, and the devil was truly in the details. I'm so excited for the next!

This book is full of twists and turns as Eddie Flynn soon realises he doesn’t know who is telling the truth. This book has been a great read even though it’s not my favourite book in the series.
