I can't remember the exact feeling of reading my first Steve Cavanagh book, but I assume it felt like reading this one: absolutely gripping. There is so much going on, so many twists and turns, that genuinely at points I felt a bit breathless! Although there were some parts I guessed ahead of time, the actual execution of them never failed to surprise me, and the devil was truly in the details. I'm so excited for the next!
Graphic: Gore, Gun violence, Suicide, Violence, Blood, Kidnapping, Suicide attempt, and Murder
Moderate: Addiction, Alcoholism, and Alcohol

This book is full of twists and turns as Eddie Flynn soon realises he doesn’t know who is telling the truth. This book has been a great read even though it’s not my favourite book in the series.
Graphic: Child abuse, Death, Physical abuse, Self harm, Violence, Blood, Kidnapping, Suicide attempt, Murder, Fire/Fire injury, and Injury/Injury detail
