Nice and twisty. I had it worked out pretty early on but I enjoyed watching the pieces fall into place.

By far my FAVE Lisa Jewell book. I have read The Family Upstairs- which was good. Then She Was Gone, not my favorite and also Invisible Girl- loved it. However, this book literally had me guessing until THE VERY LAST PAGE!!! Insane.

Chiiiile. I forgot I read this book XD. The story was probably the third most interesting plot in all of the books I’ve read by her yet I was searching through my GR’s one day & had convinced myself I didn’t read this book until I read the synopsis :S. Still love Lisa Jewell tho <3.

So I will admit at first I found this book a bit tedious and boring at parts. Then after taking a bit of a break from reading it and coming back I was flying through it. It was really good. It had a ton of moving parts in it that at the time didn’t seem too overly connected then towards the end everything slowly started to come together. It’s when I realized that all the moving parts had been for a reason and here was the big grand reveal. All in all I did love the book and I would recommend it to others as well. Especially if they’re looking for a more substantially plotted thriller to read.
