It took me a bit to get into it but then I really enjoyed it. Until I hated it. Another reviewer commented that it would have been stronger just from Bee's perspective and I agree. I didn't connect with Sarah at all.

This is probably one of the most eye-opening and heartbreaking book I have read this year. I am very happy that I read it because it brings awareness to the life of an immigrant or asylum seekers. The characters are complicated and flawed. Please read all the triggers before you read this story.
