I do love this series but this last book seemed a bit lazy. I love a good spicy scene as much as the next but it was overdone and repetitive. It felt more like page fillers than advancing the plot or adding to relationship development. Many phrases were repetitive through the series such as BDE as well. Still a good read.

Sexy but too long. The ending was very disappointing. The bad guy was like totally out of the picture the whole time. Kind of a let down.

For some reason this series didn’t really work out for me.

I think the main reason is the fact that I don’t like MK. Under the badass pretense she was just a dumb brat.

I also thought the whole series was pretty slow paced and it went around and around in circles. If it wasn’t for the hot sex scenes and Max Steele I’d probably have dnfed it.

The mysteries finally resolved didn’t surprise me at all. I didn’t suspect about who the stalker actually was but when this was revealed I was like ok good for you. So yeah in the end I just didn’t care about any of what was going on.

The relationships felt very superficial. I wished there was more passion, more fighting, more angst. They were all suppose to hate each other, love each other, suffer for each other at some point but all it felt like was best friends fucking around.

Happy though they all found a happy ending.

Satisfying ending to the story. Although I am kind of upset that there was only 1 group scene with all 3 guys in the whole series right at the end of this book.

What an amazing end to the series!

The plot twists in this one are crazy and I did not see them coming at all!

I'm so excited to reread Hades, because this series is my favourite! 😍

2.5 rounded up. Just a tad boring but not a bad ending.

Well, the last book was by far the best in this series. Things got better in multiple areas, and this book wasn't actually that bad.

First, this series should have been two books. There was no reason to have four long drawn out books with the amount of actual action and good plot that happened. There was so much filler and so many things drawn out longer than really needed to happen. It would have been much better in two good books.

Since this was the last book, we finally got basically all our answers to everything. Which, freaking finally. That's the one main thing that's driven me crazy this entire series is the lack of answers and explanations! I get drawing this out and maybe not revealing anything at once, but literally we got nothing for so long and it was just getting infuriating. So finally, we did get answers and explanations. And the twists? Weren't too bad. Finding out finally who put the hit out, wasn't overly shocking, but that plot point panned out decently. The stalker plot point was also kinda irritating though. Literally like 3 3/4 books not giving really a ton of hints on who it could be, and then it wraps up quickly and rather abruptly, and also we never actually get clear motive as to why. That was my biggest pet peeve, we got a reveal, but never a motive. Kind of a let down.

I'm glad that Madison and the boys got a happily ever after. Those endings are my favorite, and the relationship with all of them was cute, and ended well. There are some things about how their relationship ended that I personally wasn't totally a fan of (the marriage) but that's personal preference.

In the end, this series wasn't totally for me. I felt it was way too drawn out, I did not like the amount of secret keeping and controlling behaviors, the lack of answers for several books, and a lot of build up to a quick resolve with unanswered motives.

This book was such a great ending to this series. Even though I had some mixed feelings over some certain tidbits
