Poor Lucky heโ€™s being beaten and wonโ€™t go to Mori or Toby for help and no amount of following him is making the abuser show . When Dimitri sees Lucky he knows heโ€™s their mate but he just kisses his hand and vanishes leaving Lucky with nothing but bewilderment. When Dima tries to tell Dagon Lucky is their third they were never meant to be a couple Dagon doesnโ€™t believe him that is until he sees Lucky . With the war between Lucifer and the rebels heating up and the prophecy that only Lucky , Dima and Dagon can seal the rifts that the ghasts are coming through they have a lot to deal with. It was great watching Lucky come into the strong person he always should have been and watching him get his own way with his guys was perfect . We are introduced to Ferry in this book i was an idiot I read Patience , Justice and Temperance before the Reckless Damned and am now regretting it .

One son of Lucifer, one archangel, and one human. What could possibly go wrong? Well. A lot. Mostly because there seems to be a plan to overthrow Lucifer in Hell, and the demons behind this plan think they need to take the sons of Lucifer and their mates off the playing field in order to make that happen. But a prophecy about a demon, an angel, and a human could be the answer to all of that.

Dagon (demon) and Dimitri (angel) have history. A thousand years worth of history. They know they're mates, but they could never quite get it to work out the way they wanted to. And then they meet Lucky (human).

Lucky does not feel so lucky. He's not led the easiest life, and now someone is after him. Dagon and Dimitri would do anything to protect him - if only they could figure out who Lucky seems to be in danger from. But first, they have to slowly woo their mate, and earn his trust in order to move forward, which is no easy feat.

There are bumps and bruises along the road, and a couple major setbacks, but the three of them get there. Mostly through stubbornness, but they get there. And once they do, they all understand that the key to their relationship working out for the better is open and honest communication. About everything - their pasts, their fears, their insecurities, and even their hopes.

As their final showdown with Lucifer looms near, it becomes more apparent that Lucifer doesn't want to kill his sons - he wants to control them. And the best way to do that is through their mates. But, as any narcissist with an over-inflated ego does, he underestimates everyone involved. And there are few things I love more than watching pompous asshats lose everything.

This series was truly a massive rollercoaster of emotions from start to finish. We ran the whole spectrum of feelings through these four books. But it was well worth it, because I adore this series. I feel hard for the characters, and knowing that there's another series set in the same universe makes me so immensely happy. I can't wait to see where we end up, and who we meet along the way.

Dagon, Dimitri and Lucky take us on their journey in Lแดœแด„แด‹ แดา“ แด›สœแด‡ Dแด‡แด ษชสŸ by Lark Taylor, the fourth book in The Reckless Damned series.

Dagon has loved Dimirti for as long as he can remember but the hurt he has experienced because of Dimitri is almost unforgivable. When Dimirti tells Dagon he has the solution, Dagon is skeptical at first until he lays eyes on Lucky.

Dimitri is determined to get Dagon to forgive him and love him back after an extremely bad incident. When Dimirti meets Lucky, he is certain he is the answer to all his prayers.

Lucky has never been lucky and is already planning his escape to continue running from his problems until Dimitri and Dagon swoop in, sweep Lucky off his feet and promise to always protect him.

Dagon, Dimitri and Lucky are my favourites in the series. Their journey to their happily ever after is a wild rollercoaster ride of trials, obstacles and so many emotions. I am so happy that Dagon and Dimitri were able to find Lucky and help him heal, all while he helped them heal also from years of hurt. Their journey is filled with the typical banter and found family vibes of the rest of the series.

Dan Calley and Joel Leslie do a great job with these characters and their journey. I love Dan's version of Dimitri's voice, holly swoon.

Not a fan of this one probably because Iโ€™m not a big fan of MMM but I have enjoyed the entire series and I think the author is great.

I have very conflicted feelings about LUCK OF THE DEVIL so I'm just going to jump right into this review. I've enjoyed this series from the beginning and it's been fun seeing these demon brothers find their mates and fight against Lucifer. As a series finale I thought it did a pretty good job with the final battle and delivering a pretty satisfactory ending for everyone. But getting there was slow and a bit boring in some of the middle parts and I found myself losing interest a couple of times. The biggest reason why was because each chapter would go back a bit in the story and quickly rehash what had just happened, this time from a different character's POV. It wasn't a word-for-word recap or anything but it was enough to disrupt the story flow and slow down the pace.

Outside the overarching series plot was the initially tumultuous relationship between Dagon, Dimitri, and Lucky. I think I might have been the only reader of this series that didn't really care about Dagon and Dimitri prior to their book. What can I say, I don't really like enemies to lovers. When I found out Lucky would be both Dagon and Dimitri's fated mate I was really excited and maybe my anticipation for this book got too high to live up to.

If you're looking for some high heat MMM action then this book will deliver that in spades, but Dagon and Dimitri's POV chapters were not distinct at all and as characters, they were basically the same person and the majority of their personality was centered on making Lucky happy. I also think the emotional connection (outside of the fated mates attraction) could have been stronger if readers had the chance to see Lucky bonding with each guy individually. And I don't mean sex, I mean getting to know them as separate people rather than spending pretty much every second as a group.

Overall, I think this series started out strong but struggled a bit along the way. While this last book didn't quite deliver for me I am interested in reading more by Lark Taylor.
