This was a fun read. I am not sure I understand the life of Poundstone, outside of raising her children, any better. As a memoir it wasn't the best but as a humor book, it works. I also appreciate that she wove historical characters into her narrative.

Flat out hilarious. Laughed so hard, I snorted coffee out my nose. Very funny!

Okay, but I'll stick to her appearances on Wait Wait Don't Tell Me from now on.

Could not get into it. I love to listen to her, but this was just not what I expected.

Got this book (signed!) when I met her at TLA last year. She's pretty darn funny...enjoying it so far.

I listened to the audio version of this just because I ran across it at the library. Little bits of it are very funny, but overall I'm not impressed. She goes off on these boring discussions of famous historical characters, then tries to somehow link them to her own life. It just doesn't fly.
