I worked my way a bit backwards started with book 2 in the series. After reading Chasing Rhodes, so many things make sense in Choosing Henley.

Let me just start with saying I loved this book. took me less than a week to read. Chasing Rhodes is back with laughter, anger, love and OMG moments.

"My last though before sleep is that this man likely has the power to break me, and I'm not sure I care. Not one bit"

"but this kind of feels like that can't eat, cant sleep, reach for the stars, world series kind of kiss"

The two main Character is Hannah Rhodes and Greyson Holt aka Hunnam. One night change encounter and months later a short of a one night stand ends up in long lasting love. True love is never easy and there will be obstacles. Their love will be tested in all the ways possible. And trust me it will be tested. There was a moment where I just wanted to kick Greyson in the balls and shout at him you know why.

I loved Hannah with her movie quotes and reference, I certainly related to her and I think most woman would. The struggle that face a girl. The fact that you would fight for the love of your life but also know when is enough and step away. Being a woman is never easy

"I've been deflecting any and all negativity with my happiness shield. Pew. Pew. Pew"

Greyson has his own struggles, he has to let Hannah in his heart and that scares the crap out of him. He has this bad buy vibe with the sweetest, kindest heart.

"being with you is like coming home, Hannah. When I look at you I fell peace"

the group of friends become more united and a love that I won't think that will be broken is being formend.

The sex scenes are hot and you will find yourself fanning your face with your hand.

Rock fall series I would recommend to anyone who would like a great romance story. This series is fast becoming one of my Favourite Series.

I give Chasing Rhodes

This was a dumpster fire.  The author seemed to have some specific scenes in their head with no clue how to connect them or make them in anyway authentic.  Terrible.  Free to read on audible plus but truly no worth the cost.

The sex scenes were good. And that's all that I liked about it. The writing wasn't bad. Just not my cup o tea.

This was a sweet story about finding your love and fighting for it, even when things get rough.

Asshole boyfriend - supposed to be damaged from trauma, but treats her very poorly. Wouldn't recommend

Soooo it was a freebie.
and a friend mentioned the author would be at a signing I was attending.
And the truth is... it was an epic fail for me.
How the hero could be a whiny growling alpha at the same time is beyond me.
That's a first for me, so maybe that holds merits on its own.
I've heard this book is the weakest of the series but not sure I could be lured into trying book 2 that soon.
