Sir Rob, you seriously slay me!

Warning, this is going to be one giant gushfest.

I love this series! So much! It’s like every book gets better and better, and the first book was already spectacular! I’ve given every book 5 stars, but each one has surpassed the previous so Silence is Golden is really 7 stars! Seven glorious stars! This whole paragraph required exclamation points! What’s happening to me!?

Okay, deep breath so I can try to explain why more people need to read this. I don’t want to give away any spoilers, but I do want to entice anyone who’s reading this review to pick up this series. To make sure I keep all the secrets, my review will be on the series as a whole rather than on what transpires in this specific book.

The entire Storm and Silence series is breathtaking. Whatever minor issues I may have had in the beginning, they just don’t exist anymore. Silence is Golden was pretty gosh darn perfect. It’s historical, with enough accuracy to be believable, but it also has a relateable heroine for us modern readers. It’s a comedic series with characters that find themselves in the most ridiculous situations, but in the funniest way. Sure, sometimes their antics are silly, but that’s what comedy is all about. Each installment’s plot is entertaining, but the real heart of the story is the delicious relationship between the two main characters, Lilly Linton and Rikkard Ambrose.

I know I’ve said it a million times. You’re probably tired of me preaching it, but the best love stories develop slowly! For those who agree, read this series! The romance between Lilly and Ambrose is the definition of slow burn! It’s perfectly paced, with each book cranking up the heat to the next level. It’s so much fun to read them progressively falling in love, especially when it’s obvious they don’t want to. The high levels of anticipation makes me feel like I’m losing my mind, in the best possible way.

I’m pretty much in love Ambrose myself, he’s the epitome of swoon worthy, so I totally get why Lilly is unable to resist. When it feels like a man is falling in love with someone for being bold, brave, and intelligent (rather than the physical attributes) you can’t help but adore him!

I hear Silence Breaking, book 4, is going to be the last one. I could read it right now, chapter by chapter on Radish, but I think I prefer waiting for publication so I can read the whole book in one sitting. (Which is exactly what I did with Silence is Golden. I read it all in one sitting.)

I should probably give my heart time to calm down anyway, because if Silence Breaking is better than Silence is Golden, following the pattern, I’ll probably combust. Man, I’m really really looking forward to that!

Thank you to Robert Thier for providing a free ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Well this one felt a bit like dragging a romance but it just kept on getting funnier and I could not have left the book behind. The ending just had me laughing( the look at Rikkard's face after he realized that Lily had mislead them)

I got an insight int o the family and i have to state that they are a handful. Explains why he wants to get away from them. Their adventure into the forest and how Lily kept surprising her capture had me snorting in laughter. They way they kept on being interrupted just had my ribs cracking and Karim, may his Eyes be protected from Ifrit just got scarred for life.

HOW I LOVE THEIR ADVENTURES!!!!
