3 1/2 stars. There are several great thoughts here that I want to revisit. Set up a reviewer's have said that it is very repetitive, and this is true, but since I listened to it on audio at double-speed I feel that it was a bit of a bonus.

Powerful insight for perspective that can be applied in all aspects of life. Start with WHY and find success in fulfilment and connections with those you market to, work with, and associate with.

Simon Sinek does a superb job of creating and emphasizing his ideas throughout “Start with Why.” However, the ideas found in later chapters feel like a morphed version of notions that he previously stated. Yet it should be noted that the main idea of the book is both profound and well-articulated. I would recommend listening to his first few speeches and then if still curious reading the first few chapters in Barnes and Nobles.

Simon Sinek offers a unique perspective on what makes some companies so cult-worthy and others not. And while he brings up interesting points around how to inspire others and how to lead a world changing cause, I don’t buy much of it. Simon Sinek’s view of what makes companies like Apple great is over-idealistic and based on emotions. Overall, worth the read but not an accurate portrayal of how to achieve anything tangible.

This book is written with a business perspective. I have no business training or really much interest but I found it immensely applicable to all areas of life--personal, parenting, health care, religion, etc. Perhaps a bit repetitive with some of the author's examples but nonetheless thought provoking.

Useful and inspiring in some ways, but leaves a lot to be desired. A very personal effort by Mr. Sinek and a very laudable effort if this is his writing debut. I look forward to reading his other books.
