If you're looking for depth, you won't find it here. This book reads like the cheesy as hell '90s teen slasher flicks I used to love, with an updated feel thanks to the fact that all the characters are obnoxious influencers. I can honestly say I didn't REALLY like any of the characters, but that made the book even more fun to read. There weren't a lot of huge surprises or twists I didn't see coming, but the ride was well worth sticking with it and this was the most fun I've had reading a book in a while.

As a group of influencers are stuck on a private island for a supposed reality show and cut off from the outside world, their secrets begin to be released and are "canceled" one by one. But why and how are they all connected?
This was a surprisingly good thriller! I had expected it to be more predictable, as most YA thrillers are, especially the first book written by an author. I kind of saw who was doing it but not why, and I mostly didn't trust them, I didn't know they were behind it all. This book had a lot of twists and turns.
An overall excellent thriller, but the MCs weren't very likable.

Thrilling and captivating with so many twists and turns that I didn’t want to stop reading! I enjoyed how the story slowly unfolded. There was never a lull in this book where something wasn’t gripping me with suspense or interest. I liked the premise of the book regarding “influencers” and the takes on what it means to be “canceled,” because most of these kids would not have faced harsh consequences in their real lives, which is mentioned. Some heavy topics are brought up, and handled decently. The ending truly surprised me.

Gripes: I wish there weren’t so many POVs because it got confusing at times. If you aren’t a fan of internet lingo or pop culture references, this is not the book for you.

I would recommend this book to upper YA and NA readers. Thank you to NetGalley for the free eARC.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC. For a debut novel, this wasn't bad. Multiple POV's from different Influencers on an island for 3 weeks. I was intrigued. It is obvious who was not going to make it to the end of the novel. However, this ending is not obvious at all. I did not see any of that unfolding.
Some scenarios in the story are a stretch when it comes to the character's responses and emotions. As mentioned, Worley came up with a very good, yet sneaky and clever ending. Moderate swearing. Moderate Sexual content but not descriptive.
