A wonderful short story packed with feelings of love, regret, trauma and joy. The prose is delightful, I'll keep an eye out for more by this author!

This is one of my favorite short stories I've written, so I'm so excited to set it as a permafree ebook and hopefully send it into the hands of more readers. Thank you for joining me on the short little journey with Lane and Ceru!

One word to describe this: delightful.
One complaint: I wish there were more!!

Pros:
I loved being wisked away by Blasko's rolling tumbling writing style that made this short story the very essence of a touching letter or journal entry. The implied struggles of the MC and the journey she undertook to find herself and someone who truly understands her was beautiful, and inspiring.
I truly wish this story was far longer. I would've read a whole novel of Lane and Ceru.

Cons:
There were a few obvious grammatical mistakes and the writing style was a little difficult to get used to but nothing that was a dealbreaker.

If you're in need of a cozy home in the midst of a snow storm and a Sapphic romance that will warm your heart like a fireside, while also being quick enough to read in a blink, this is the story for you.

This was such a beautifully whimsical heartfelt story that gave me Klara & The Sun vibes with some other magic I can’t quite put my finger on.

The narrator is so earnest and precious and had me completely swept up in their journey and rooting for their happy ending. It’s a delight that leaves you thinking about them long after it’s over… and wishing it wasn’t!
