I don't know what to say about this book. It has no problem/conflict. I like that we got to know more about the protagonists' lives, but I was hoping more action. I don't know, maybe Mal finding out that Hades is her father or something like that. It's not a bad book, it's well written and the descriptions are as good as always. But the book lacks action. They didn't even get to solve the problem, Mal and Uma don't even really interact. It could've been better.

Not too much actually happens in this book. I do love that it doesn't follow the same formula as the last three books. It's a good bridge between movies and tells more about what happens as they graduate and what they'll do afterward. Which is something I felt was always needed in the movies.
