Definitely not the kind of book you should pick up without reading the jacket first, like I made the mistake of doing.

A heavy and infuriating and brutally honest and uplifting and confusing book tbh. One of those books where's there's no dichotomy of right and wrong (with some obvi exceptions). Everyone who knows someone who has experienced an abusive relationship in any way should read this.

I have nothing to say but I am surprised happy and delighted that she left him. I wish she had done that sooner rather than later but I am still glad she did. I wish everyone were as strong as she is.

I put the adult/minor relationship tag because technically speaking there is a relationship between an 18 year old and a 15 year old. That said, the age gap is 2 and a half years and isn't too much cause for concern in my opinion.
