The back and forth between the then and now had me disoriented for a time before finally getting used to it. Story's pretty cute tho

Oh yeah, I’ll inject all the action-packed exciting romantic suspense I can get my hands on straight into my eyeballs. Explosions! Betrayals! Spies and assassins and ALL THE TWISTS IN THE WORLD!

Seriously, if your sales-pitch is a “summer blockbuster but make it gay”, I’m your customer. Had an ungodly amount of fun reading this, and can’t wait to dive back in.

It took a little to get into this, but what an awesome and wild ride once I did.

This is a straight up action, suspense thriller with a good chunk of mystery espionage, crazy tactics and seriously hot between the two main characters. When each chapter ended I couldn't wait for the next, what a great page turner.

It goes from "then" to "now" as we learn what's going on. There's an awesome scene about code talking in the then that plays out so well in the now. In fact there's a lot of payoffs throughout the book.

The two main characters were fascinating, nuanced and genuine. Genuine even when I wasn't sure I could trust them. I loved the ending. I want more with these two, I love them.
