The steamy scenes were ok. But cultural appropriation not so much.
The scene where she passes out at the dig site and has a vision was kinda wack

Maeve is a 29 year old virgin and has no idea how to get herself into the dating pond without just reeling in frogs. A late night banter with her brother's friends Jack, Alex & Noah leads to a plan for the three of them to give dating lessons. Jack and Alex at happy to share the experience, while Noah is more private. Noah doesn't realize she is sleeping with Jack and Alex, and they don't realize that she's also with Noah. And her brother, Kyle, has no idea a out ANY of it. The relationships start to splinter after Noah sees her with Jack and Alex. Then Maeve discovers she's pregnant, and Kyle blows up when he learns about it, leading to an explosion where the three guys discover she is pregnant and Kyle simultaneously discovers she is with all 3 men. Oops. But with helping hands and nature giving her a push to slow down and take it easy, they all calm down and see that what is important is a happy, healthy Maeve.

Maeve has spent all her life taking care of other people and putting herself second and as she approaches her 30th birthday she decides she wants to start dating and meet someone who puts her first for once - she’s 29 and a never been kissed before virgin.

Enter three men who have already been a big part of her life (and her brothers) who offer to help her get the man of dreams but their lessons soon show she’s already met him and there happens to be more than one of them.

What follows is a story of secret trysts, passion, jealousy and heartbreak as Maeve jumps from the frying pan into the fire so to speak. Each man is very different personality wise and how they treat and act towards Maeve. The author did a really good job of creating believable characters and relationships with just enough sexual tension to keep the relationship simmering.

One thing the relationship is lacking is communication and people’s feelings get hurt and rather than talk things through Maeve runs away and hides putting herself at risk.

The book is well paced but I felt the pregnancy part was particularly rushed. We hear it’s a risky pregnancy but none of that’s been mentioned at all until Maeve has an accident.
