I don't know what you know me from. Well Judy Greer I know you from a lot of things, in fact I think I've seen a majority of the films you've been in plus my favorite tv show is Arrested Development. So I'm not exactly ignorant of your career. I think you're a smart, funny actress who I wish was my best friend sometimes!

However if you don't know Judy Greer or can't remember what you've seen in her in but you've seen her before, reading this book is not going to help you out. I think when I picked up this book I was expecting Judy to talk about her experiences in Hollywood, what it's like to hang with the big stars, how her success shows you don't have to be the star of everything to be a good working actress. Well there was very little of that! I think besides her Oscar story, peeing next to JLo in the bathroom, and Aston Kutcher buying her Dad a motorcycle, there was nothing else about Hollywood. Instead she's taken that approach a lot of other celebrity biographies are going by talking about random things, like going to CVS to "think things through" or random texts she's sent her friend. I could relate with some of what Judy said, but most of the time I was just bored. The last few chapters of the book were repetitive. OK I GET IT it's hard to be a stepmom who can't make a normal schedule! Who cares? People do this crap all the time! I just felt like Judy had an opportunity here to give us a glimpse of Hollywood and instead she'd rather discuss the farts her dog makes. I get it, it's her memoir she can write about what she wants but the problem is that unlike Tina Fey, Judy Greer can't bring that comedic ease to her writing. So you end up reading a lot of stories and anteodes that just aren't that meaningful or funny. She's not sure what people know her from but in this book she barely mentions anything she's ever been in! A huge oversight to me. I guess she'll have to continue to say that to people!

Judy Greer you're a great actress and I'm sure you'll grace our screens for years to come in all kinds of roles. However I do not think you're a writer and while I applaud you for trying, I think you missed the chance to really make your mark with this book.

I picked up this book in the library when I saw the cover and recognized the author. I know her from Arrested Development (amazing) and as the best friendemy from 13 Going on 30 (amazing again.) And I was pretty sure I knew her from a bunch of other things (confirmed while reading.) I thought I might like it, given how much I liked Sarah Silverman's memoir, even though I was indifferent to her as an actress. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. It just wasn't laugh out loud funny and I couldn't really relate to the way she sees the world. It was entertaining while it lasted, though - so, 3 stars.

Eh. I read this specifically because I know of Judy Greer and like her as an actress, but the "I Don't Know What You Know Me From" idea fell a bit flat to me. I enjoyed this on audio because she read it, but besides that, there wasn't much that kept me pulled in to this book.

I know Judy Greer from several movies like "The Descendants" and "13 Going on 30" and TV. She's been in a ton of movies and 2 where she kissed George Clooney. She would be a great BFF and I enjoyed her light memoir while I walked.

Cute, funny but more in a chuckling way than a gut-busting laughter way. It’s very short so it was an extremely quick read, but I’d call it more of a “series of anecdotes” rather than a memoir. It doesn’t particularly evoke any emotion outside of “that was cute,” and the writing is unfortunately pretty middling. It might be better experienced as an audiobook to actually hear it in her voice, but otherwise was just a fun quick little read.

I grabbed this because she is one of the voices on the TV show Archer which is one of my favs but the book is pretty slight and after flipping through the remaining pages last night I could find no Archer and so without any whordiot mentions this book is going bye bye!

A delight, as I was expecting it to be. Judy Greer is high on my list of imaginary celebrity best friends and this book just cemented that. Not deep, but fun.

I don't know where I know her from, but I would take her as a best friend any day=) She is funny, charming, honest, and hilarious. I loved hearing all of her silly anecdotes, and her zest for life.
