I’m not a fan of the daughter continuously putting herself in unsafe situations - not sure if it’s realistic or not but I roll my eyes.

I preferred the prequel as well as the first novel over this one - not one I would own.

Somehow I ended up reading three of the books in this series in reverse order. I like the main characters and the mysteries. But the later ones are definitely better developed.

An easy and enjoyable read. The story moves along at a good pace and the characters are likeable. So nice to have a detective without a past or baggage.

Set in Norway and Lithuania which add an interesting setting. I thought it was a complicated storyline with lots of characters (keeping track of their names was hard.)
