Inspirational true story about the value of learning, even when a grandmother.

The tables turn in this lovely book. The grandmother is getting a chance to learn at school and her granddaughter is her biggest supporter. Age is not a barrier to learning when you have a supportive group of people around you. I loved the illustrations and the concepts in this book. Perfect for one on one reading and for learning about a different culture.

Although the family in this story is fictional, this is an absolutely true story of the real Grandmother School in a village outside of Mumbai. What an awesome inspiring thing.
