This was a fun novel that I never expected to read. As an aspiring author myself, I was overjoyed at the opportunity to read a local author. The book was well-written, amusing, and funny in a clever but subtle way.
I enjoyed the many art history anecdotes- I feel like I walked away from this book having learned great deal about art.
The book also seemed to challenge the definition of art and the arbitrariness of its monetary value.
It was a solid read. Be sure to settle in somewhere comfortable and cozy with a cup of tea if you pick this up.
