John tucker is literally the sweetest guy ever. He literally drops anything and everything to be with Sabrina and his daughter Jamie. Tucker is most mature one out of the group. I already knew that going into the book. But the way he handled Sabrina’s pregnancy, birth and now being a Dad. Tucker was so patient with Sabrina. I mean he waited the whole book for her to say I love you. And he always said things are on her terms, because he knew she would dart for hills if she wasn’t ready. Again maturity level of this guy! And can we talk about his southern manners. Hello?!?! Literally would never let her open a door. Also the “Yes ma’am” and the “darlin’”. Oh my the southern manners. AHH! John Tucker is literally the definition of Accidental Pregnancy Trope done well! I loved Sabrina! I adored her hard work, her persistence and her sass. Sabrina and Tucker make amazing parents, I loved seeing them handle parenthood for a couple months. I feel most books end when they have the baby. But I liked seeing them grow and manage parenthood. I honestly think it brought them closer together. I know that sounds super cliche, but of well. Tucker was what Sabrina needed in her life, someone to take care of her, love her, be patient, encourage her. And Sabrina was what Tucker needed. Someone he could take care of, cook for, love, and be a southern man that his mama taught him how to be! Ugh, they literally are perfect together! Sabrina and Tucker are my second favorite Off Campus Series couple! After Grace and Logan!

Side Note: I also enjoyed the cameos of the other Characters. I loved seeing Logan and Grace! Plus Fitzy was in this book more, I LOVE him. I can’t wait to read his book.

This is my second read, which I never do, and I loved it more than the first time around. Tucker is one of my favorite mmc of all time and Sabrina is such an understandable and inspiring fmc. I love her and her story. It is an accidental pregnancy but I think it’s really well done. The focus isn’t on some perfect plot device that fixes everything; the baby gives them a reason to be closer but they have to work through their trauma(s) and life struggles. I respect the issues continuing realistically after the baby and how despite much if the romantic tension being the result of internal struggle, it made sense.

Ever since I've started reading the Off-Campus series by Elle Kennedy this year, I have never thought "There's no way Kennedy could top these two characters as a couple". As much as I have done every time I open the next book in the series. Then the next. Then the next.

But every time, she somehow succeeds in doing so.

Favourite relationship? Hannah and Garrett--no brainer there.

Favourite Guy? Toss-up between Fitzy and Beau (RIP King. You were my husband throughout the series and I hoped you would have gotten your own book.)

How could you, Kennedy?

Favourite Girl? Definitel Grace. What a GirlBoss. Love her so much <3

Once again Elle Kennedy gives us offensive portrayal of queer women and people of color + a solid dose of sexism and reinforcing stupid gender norms.
