It’s an interesting take on the zombie genre y adding a vampire outlook to it. Enjoyable.
Very repetitive -- we barely learn anything about the world or our main character so the book is just a cycle of Dorian going, "I need blood. Oh, I found a human! Oh, the human escaped/I accidentally killed them. Let me brutally tear apart some undead. They bit me so I need blood."
There are many a tale of zombies, and many of vampires. But a mix of the two, with a vampire struggling to survive in this new world overrun with the undead, now this is something you don’t see everyday. This is book one of three and the plot keeps getting thicker and more enthralling as it goes! Bower does a superb job as always, I just love his writing style. Can’t wait to get to book two!

I was excited by the idea of the book; vampire surviving the zombie apocalypse, heck yeah! But MC was boring and it the writing felt repetitive.

It's very much like the tv show "the walking dead". It's a bit boring and alot of repeating. If you love the show it's perfect for you. I'm not a fan of the show so it's eh.

It's a neat concept, vampires and zombies are competing for their food. I liked that vampires could waste away and die if they didn't get blood in a relatively short amount of time too. That being said, I think this could do with another round of editing.
