Honestly this book was a bit of a letdown for me. It may be partially my fault because I was expecting more of low key, romance story, and this book was more adventure and mountain climbing than I expected. I had a really hard time getting into this book, and I personally didn’t relate to the main female character at all, which didn’t help. I also felt like the dialogue was kind of cheesy and weird at times, especially amongst the friends. Overall, this book just wasn’t really my cup of tea.

A sweet but unremarkable romance read. I wanted to like this, because Easton is such a wonderful character in the other books, but he fell a bit flat for me in this one. As well, I really disliked River. She seemed to be rude and insensitive to other people, unless they had some value for her.

I devoured the Moose Springs book this month and enjoyed the entire series thoroughly. I can't wait for the next one!

Enjoy the View was the most serious of the three books so far, in my opinion. It had a lot going on and while I've never read a book that included mountaineering or rock climbing in it, I was fascinated by the way the author articulated these experiences. Obviously, because I'm not knowledgeable on these topics, I'm not sure how accurately any of it was portrayed, but I was certainly hooked!

I really like how the author writes a good insta-like with slow burn and closed-door scenes. It makes the books focus more on the surrounding themes than just the romance, which isn't something I'm as used to with romcoms. It's refreshing, honestly!

I'd been really looking forward to Easton's story from the get-go, so I'd say that this was a satisfying novel overall!
