This book gave me a serious book hangover! I can't stop thinking about it and wishing that I could just read it again.
Moose Springs has become one of my favorite book settings and Morgenthaler is quickly becoming a favorite author.
This book has everything you could ever ask for. Moments of suspense and terror as they adventure up a mountain in Alaska, hilarious moments as River gets to know the town and people in it, romance and steam between the main characters and previous , and my favorite - tons of banter between Easton and River.
This book's adventure was so good. I felt like it had the perfect balance of technical terminology with explanations where I needed it - though I would strongly advise watching some footage in youtube to see what they are talking about. My students recently read about this type of climbing and we showed them a video and the visual was in my head as I read.
But what really made this book fantastic was River and Easton's relationship. I loved all of their interactions and I really liked how much they had in common.
I cannot wait for another book in this series!
