I find it very admirable of a woman to share her personal experience with the world. I’m thankful that she was able to tell us her story so that we may identify aspects within the people around us which may be seen as harmful if we weren’t so close to them.
Reading this has helped me realise that a person in my life possesses a particular handful of the same traits as Marco (a similar excuse aswell). For a long time, people around me have questioned why that person is the way that they are, and I’m grateful that this memoir was able to offer some guidance as well as an explanation. I feel at peace with myself to a certain degree but I’ve still got a long way to go because of the effect that this person has had on me.
Once again, thank you so much Jen Waite for sharing this experience with us 🙏
