Is this my favorite? She just keeps one upping herself over and over again. A master story teller and gripping plot twists that had me jaw dropping. The element of danger everywhere was seeping into my bones. This series is everything.

I am not a supporter of Rowling as a person or her views, and did not pay money for this book as I would not want to line her pockets.

I couldn't put this down. Everyone is morbidly interested in cults, aren't they? So this was like cult catnip. Yes, some of the ending was a bit ol' chunk of exposition, but to be fair Poirot did that too. I really like the characters and am sad to admit how invested I am in the ongoing saga of Strike and Ellacott.
