As a first poetry read, I was happy to have understood so much of the imagery Shraya highlights for us. An honest and insightful book of poems. Mid book, there are sets of interviews that I also found very interesting. Big fan!

a must read for the white, colored, alien, different, etc.
Shraya illuminates race for all. it's lyrical and articulate, and will leave educated from both the colored and white point of view.
